Let's start with a Gratitude List! I thought a lot about what I have to be grateful for, as I lay panting between poses in Bikram this morning. First of all, that I get to go to Bikram is one! I so grateful to have Bikram classes available, plus they are right around the corner, and I get to ride my bike to the studio! I am grateful for my healthy body: my wrist is healing, my finger is better, and my neck pain is diminishing. I'm getting stronger and more flexible with each class. I know that soon I will be able to ride long distances on my bike again, as well as return to rock climbing! My repro system seems to be back in order; I feel "normal" again, my energy level has returned, symptoms diminished! Yay! I'm grateful that I have the time and money to attend classes! I'm so grateful to be back in Austin with friends and family! I love spending time with my friends and family, and seeing people I haven't seen for waaaay tooooo looong! I'm really looking forward to seeing friends and family in San Antonio I haven't seen... (hit "read more" button) ... in 3 years, some 5 or 10! I'm so glad to be close to family in Ft. Worth, to see them more often, and of course, hanging with Dad each week is wonderful! I'm so grateful to have the time and money to be with my friends, and go out, and really enjoy the social outings I couldn't do when I was here last. There is so much I want to experience in ATX and I'm looking forward to experiencing all the great music, activities, and events this year! I'm really grateful to be here!
I'm so grateful for the great place where we live; the perfect location for me! I'm in a lovely apartment in the area of ATX that I enjoy where you can bike everywhere and walk everywhere, or at least everything I want to do is in a 5 mile radius! I'm grateful beyond words that I'm not having to work a crappy waitressing job to scrape by, and that I haven't had to work. I'm so grateful to not be struggling financially (while my savings holds out! I'm grateful that I've done well in school and that I'm in a great program. I have the opportunity to advance my career and so many great doors are going to open for me this year. When I have my teaching cert., I will be able to teach here in the US, and abroad! I'm so excited about these new opportunities! I'm so excited to be able to teach science! This is one step toward my Master's, and then PhD! I'm so grateful to have a career that allows me freedom and travel!!! I'm so grateful and I'm so lucky that I get to travel and live where I wish! I love that I can be interested in a place, and then move there! I'm grateful to have met a man who is interested in living abroad with me! I'm excited about the next locale: will it be Hawaii? Will it be France? Will it be Bali? I am so grateful that I can GO ANYWHERE AND DO ANYTHING I WANT!!! I'm so grateful for the new friends I make where ever I am in the world; friendships that will last a lifetime! I met Etheree and Jennifer in North Carolina. Then Kelly, Veronique, Lara, JaeHyuk, YeYun, HyeJeoung, Yolande, and Unsuk in Korea! I love having friends all over the globe! From every culture, creed, and background! I am so thankful for all of my wonderful, loving friends! Life is good! Intentions for 2015 I'm putting my intentions out there into the world that all good things come to me and that only good lies before me! What are your intentions for 2015? Write them down! Make a vision board!! I intend to: Physical - increase my strength and flexibility, do Bikram 5x/wk in January, start running again in February, start biking and rock climbing when my wrist is fully healed and it warms up (March-ish), my body to completely heal and recover, lose 10 or so lbs., do sit ups and push ups several times per week, start 2015 with a no sugar nutrition plan kickstart, with no sugar or booze for two weeks and once weekly juice fasting...
