Way overdue!

     I penned my last post from Korea, I suppose.  After over a month back in the States, an update is well past due!  I've spent the last month traveling: via air, car, my two legs, and a horse!  I've been in Dallas, Austin, and Gonzales in TX, Las Cruces in NM, and Mesa and Sedona in AZ.  I only stopped living out of a suitcase last week, thank goodness!  My stomach was upset for over half the month, as I adjusted to eating much heavier American food; my liver wonders what the hell I've done to it!
     Two weeks of relaxation and travel in Arizona got me the sunshine and warmth that I have needed, along with a sore rump from an afternoon in the literal saddle, and surprisingly, no bruises or falls from my first ever mountain bike ride!!! My welcome back was at the ACL Music Fest, with a personal song from Pearl Jam (I wish!), followed by a glorious concert at The Belmont by The Carolina Chocolate Drops (oh, the irony!). 
    I've since moved into our new place, and am somewhat settled; though still in desperate need of furniture and cookware and a bicycle!  Now it's a matter of getting my schedule organized, catching up in school, acclimating to the turn in weather (brrrr!), and gaining a student teaching position at some local, progressive-minded private school!
     Here are a few pics, just a taste; I will be working on getting caught up on my blog here over the next month, which of course, will have more traveling to Fort Worth, San Antonio, and possibly Canada for Christmas!
