Heart-wrenching and intense
The story line is ridiculous and yet I am still compelled to watch. Jung Woo Sung's constantly raised eyebrows and widened eyes as his most common on-screen response is driving me crazy. And yet, I still enjoy watching to see parts of my Tongyeong!
My second time to watch this amazing film. I heard they are making a US remake of this K Film. Hmm, probably won't be as good.
Cry cry cry! This 2015 Korean film is purportedly based off the 2012 US social media series of the same name, and a book by David Levithan "Every day". However, the social media film directed by Drake Doremus was released in 2012, and the book release was the same year. So who know which was first and who remade what? The point is, several fantastic Korean actors are in this film as well as Han Hoo Joo, who has been one of my favorite actresses since I first saw her in Always, with So Ji Sub (one of my fav films!). This is a heart-warming and heart-breaking film. So very interesting!
정우성 Jung Woo Sung and 김범 Kim Bum in one drama... Now my heart goes Padam Padam, too!
The first Korean actor I had a crush on was 이병헌 Lee Byung Hun. The second? Jung Woo Sung! Kim Bum was too hard to resist in Boys Over Flowers and I'm so glad to see him here. Although I've moved on from Jung Woo Sung, (sorry, the characters he plays have become too malevolent and dissipated), I still enjoy his films, especially A Moment to Remember and Daisy. I am currently diehardcrushin' on 소지섭 So Ji Sub and 김수현 Kim Soo Hyun, the both "Come From The Stars" and I will "Always" be crushin' on them!
I am especially thrilled that this drama was filmed in 통영 Tongyeong, my home in Korea!! I love seeing familiar streets and waterfront areas!
