Be mindful of your news sources peeps! (Most of you know this). Do articles about COVID and the vaxx have credible sources that are cited and links to research-based evidence? Is it a reputable news source or opinions on social media? Is the "doctor" a medical doctor with a specialty in public healthy, epidemiology, or virology? Think critically and do not be swayed by opinion, politics, extreme religious views or news from social media sources like this one! Think for yourself and check those footnotes!
Some media sites, like "Rumble" are not trusted news sources, and the "authors" of articles have no credentials, but offer lots of gossip and biased or politically-based opinions-- and no cited sources for their articles.
There is much empirical evidence on exactly how getting COVID alters and diminishes cognitive capacity, along with the long-term damage it does to the cardio- and respiratory systems, not to mention loss of taste and smell for months or permanently.
The mRNA vaxx is not new tech. It has been around for over 2 decades. It is being applied to the current covid virus. Think about what the world would look like without the vaxxes for mumps, measles, etc.
I have spent hours researching the vaxxes, current and past, as well as attenuated vaxxes and mRNA technology. I have read white papers (scientific articles) that go decades back, as well as reading current pieces presented by NIH, WHO, CDC...research-based, evidence-based data written by SCIENTISTS.
I am very glad I got vaxxed.
I am once again taking extra precautions due to the delta variant. The delta variant and other mutations arose and will continue to occur and spread and cause mass contagion and death until vaccines are distributed worldwide (many countries currently have NO access to vaccines, like Myanmar and parts of SE Asia, Africa, the Americas) and until people educate themself about science or stop making science about politics and their "freedumb".
I predict that people living in the USA can look forward to another 5 years of this pandemic raging and killing people because
1. it has been politicized,
2. the lack of science education in schools due to (mainly) Christian religions that promote falsehoods over science (like the world is only 6 years old and earth was intelligently-designed and evolution is not real). (American students test in the lowest quartile (25%) among developed nations in SCIENCE!
3. People are selfish and ignorant and think that caring for others during a pandemic infringes on their "freedumb", rather than caring for their friends, family, community and countrymen and gaining the smallest amount of scientific knowledge. [They know that wearing a mask will protect themselves and others, but they choose murder and their right to murder. Same argument these ignorant people use for their gun "rights"--most have not read the consitution or studied constitutional law and certainly do not see beyond themselves and their selfish wants. Rant over.]
Another problem in the US is that people get their news from Facebook and other social media, or news sites such as this with "doctors" writing articles but offering no research-based evidence, nor footnotes to valid research articles to prove their opinion, which is usually biased to their political and religious leanings. Those "doctors' could be chiropracters for all you know, especially if the article states their name and "doctor" under it. Even an MD is not qualified to make assertions about this pandemic of their specialty is geriatic medicine, for example, unless they have done their research into virology, public health, and epidemiology.
That's what I know from my background in science and medicine and personal research into virology and COVID and current vaxx tech for COVID.
