I also have to recommend Deepak Chopra's "What Are You Hungry For?"!!
I've been listening to this in audio format on my long drives to the office :-) If you are struggling with changing your habits of eating and nutrition, this is a fantastic guide that offers simple tips to help you change your habits and views of your body, your nutrition, and lifestyle. This is NOT a diet book, which is one reason I love it! Dr. Chopra discusses awareness of patterns and how to change them! Personally, I needed the reminder to stop eating at my desk and foraging through Facebook as I ate; to eat with more awareness and focus on my food. I have gotten into a bad habit of working while eating and not really tasting any of my food, even though I generally eat healthy. I highly recommend this book if you struggle to eat in a healthy way–it's NOT just for people who want to lose weight. It will bring some balance into your life!
